Web search in Dify with x402serps

Dify imports tools from HTTP MCP servers for Agent apps, workflows and chatflows. Custom headers need Dify 1.9.0 or later. On older self-hosted versions, add the REST API as a custom (OpenAPI) tool instead.

Add the server

  1. Tools → MCP → Add MCP Server (HTTP).
  2. Server URL https://x402serps.com/api/mcp (keep it ending in /mcp so Dify uses streamable HTTP).
  3. Name x402serps, Server Identifier x402serps.
  4. Headers: Authorization = Bearer xs_YOUR_KEY (or X-Trial = 1 to test).
  5. Click Add & Authorize. The card should list the tools.

Older Dify: custom tool

Tools → Custom → Create Custom Tool, import https://x402serps.com/openapi.json, set Authorization to API Key, Header Authorization, Auth Type Bearer, value xs_YOUR_KEY.

Pay per call with x402 instead: tool calls without a trial header or key return the x402 payment requirements, which an x402-aware client can pay in USDC on Base or Solana. Search is $0.004 a call. Buy a credit key on the pricing page.
