Web search in VS Code (GitHub Copilot) with x402serps
VS Code's GitHub Copilot agent mode supports remote HTTP MCP servers with custom headers. Add x402serps to .vscode/mcp.json for one workspace, or run MCP: Open User Configuration for all of them.

Open Copilot Chat, switch to Agent mode and click the tools icon to check x402serps is enabled. Or run MCP: List Servers from the Command Palette.
Pay per call with x402 instead: tool calls without a trial header or key return the x402 payment requirements, which an x402-aware client can pay in USDC on Base or Solana. Search is $0.004 a call. Buy a credit key on the pricing page.
