Free web search MCP server for Claude, Cursor and more

Paste one URL into your MCP client and your agent can search the web. x402serps gives every MCP client 20 free searches or page extracts a day with no account, no email and no API key. When the free calls run out, the agent is told how to pay $0.004 per search in USDC over x402, or you can use card credits.

Set up in 60 seconds

Claude Code: run claude mcp add --transport http x402serps https://x402serps.com/api/mcp. Cursor: add {"mcpServers":{"x402serps":{"url":"https://x402serps.com/api/mcp"}}} to ~/.cursor/mcp.json. Then ask your agent to search the web.

What counts as free

Each web_search or extract call uses one of the 20 daily free calls. Paid tools such as deep research, crawl and batch need an x402 payment or card credits.

Why no key

x402 lets the agent pay per request with a stablecoin, so there's nothing to provision. The free tier lets you try it before any wallet is set up.

Try it free

Add the header X-Trial: 1 for free trial calls (limited per network and to 10 a minute). Paid calls (x402 or a credit key) have no per-minute rate limit.
